Pastor Melvin E. Moore


Pastor Melvin Moore was born April 9, 1965 in Philadelphia, Pa. to Shufronia and Melvin Moore.  Pastor Moore was reared in a Christian home, and was the eldest child, his family attended the Ebenezer Baptist Church. His family later joined the Bethel Holy Temple under the leadership of His Spiritual Father, Bishop Thomas James Martin Jr.  By age 12 and many years later Melvin Moore served as Youth leader, Junior Deacon, Choir President, Usher, and Evangelist.
           In June 1997 Pastor met and married the love of his life, Lynette, and joined the Rhema Deliverance Center under the leadership of Apostle Vance L, Dash. It was there where Pastor Moore served 10 years as an Associate Pastor, and Elder. Pastor Melvin Moore and Lynette Moore were blessed with two beautiful children Ashyln  and Eric ( Graduates of Middletown High and  current students at Delaware State University). 
          2007 is when Pastor Moore was led by the Lord to  move his family to Delaware. The Moore family joined the Resurrection Center in Wilmington, DE. under the leadership of Bishop S. Todd Townsend. At the Resurrection Center Melvin Moore served for 11 years as Church Administrator, Bible School Teacher, Overseer, and  Associate Minister.  Later, The  Resurrection Center opened another church in Middletown ,Delaware. Pastor Melvin Moore became the Campus Pastor of this Middletown Resurrection Center and served  for 4 years. In the Spring of 2018, Pastor Moore established his own church ” Vision Fellowship Ministries”  in Middletown, Delaware. It is here ( currently located at Louis Redding Middle School in Middletown, DE.) where Pastor Moore equips people with the word of God through the empowerment of the holy spirit. Pastor Moore has a “vision” to reach generations with a message of hope, healing and deliverance.Pastor Melvin Moore is blessed to have Co-Pastor Lynette Moore as his wife and ministry partner.
Vision Fellowship ministries is currently a small loving congregation. At this church the members are challenged to grow in Christ daily and to serve our community to the fullest !
